Great start
This app is a great example of how to use the multi-touch screen effectively. It doesnt try to "look" like a hardware surface, instead opting to use the space as efficiently as possible; something I really appreciate.
Its also very responsive, which is among the most important aspects of a control surface in my opinion.
What needs fixing: like most apps that aim to be control surfaces, when it comes to mixing the scribble strips are way too small and in the wrong place. Larger, brighter, and at the bottom of each strip is the way to go. Currently you have to really look for your tracks; when youre working on a 30-40 track project, one spends to much time banking and searching.
Second issue with TouchOSC: scrubbing. Id like to scrub the bar/measure and time indicators to move through the project.
Otherwise, its my favourite so far.
