The controls that are there are great - unfortunately, there is nothing to indicate what bar youre on, and no way to locate to a specific bar. You can use markers, if youve set them, but theres no visual of the transport. I can eq and set fx from my phone - like Im going to do that - but I dont know where I am till I hit play and listen, and I cant locate to a bar. Lame.

Spent an entire evening trying to get this to work with Traktor. It does not work, terrible instructions, you need bits and pieces of other software in order to make this work. I had to install Quartz in order to make something work for "pd extended". So i could change the IP address. After all of that it still does not work. How do I change it back now on my computer? A complete mess. The editor does not work I have an iPhone 4S and a MacBook Pro. You guys cant write software that works for those?!? Is this app no longer supported? Has anyone gotten this to work with traktor?

No update since Oct 2013. Enough said. Avoid until updated.

Yea just get lemur if you have the money, it is soooo worth it.

I use this app regularly, as I like the minimalist design over Lemurs GUI. When it works, it works ok. Initial setup was kind of a pain to get it to control Ableton...had to piece together info from some outdated tutorials on YouTube...find the legacy version of the original LiveControl from Liine (LiveControl 2 will not work here!!! Wish it would...)...and hope that it wont freeze up on me while using it on my iPad Air. The main problem I have with it is that Im unable to multitask while running LiveControl on it -- jumping over to other music apps and then back causes it to freeze up / become unresponsive, where I have to shut it down, relaunch and reconnect with my desktop. So...I have to have a dedicated iPad just for running this (with no multitasking), and another for running other music apps. PLEASE INCLUDE "RUN IN BACKGROUND" IN FUTURE UPDATE!! Lemur has that... Its been over a year since the last update. Until I feel the developer isnt abandoning this and will start addressing issues and start implementing new improvements....1 star from me. Other than "Run in Background", I would request a larger color palette or color wheel in the editor for custom colors. As well as updated / improved continuity in connecting TouchOSC with Ableton...if possible, adding compatibility with LiveControl 2. Please! Im hopeful for this app yet...

Unbelievably versatile and easy to use

Guys, please please please! Fix the live control layout. Every layout works with Ableton Live BUT the live control layout. Killing me here!! Please update

I was excited to use this app, but the set up with Ableton was very tedious and had to figure a lot of stuff out for myself; eventually had to resort to downloading other software just to get it to work at all. Everything worked except the x/y axis controllers, and when I contacted support, it took over a week for them to get back with me. They just said "we just want to confirm that TouchOSC works without OSCulator installed" and then referred me to another type of software called Live Control. I replied that it didnt work at all without OSCulator, and havent heard back from them since. I have moved on and now am using Lemur.

Im not sure why the others had issues with this, all the required software is on the developers site. I downloaded this app because I needed a custom midi mapping tool for our praise and worship band. After downloading, I went to the developers site for the manual and found the other two pieces of software needed on my Mac to make it work (TouchOSC Bridge and TouchOSC Editor). I spent a grand total of three hours on it and now have a totally customized controller designed for what I needed. I can see that I will be creating many more templates!

The app is great, you get more persuasion touch on the new iPhone 6 and 6 plus. But would love (and would put 5 stars) if updated and optimised!

The templates and controls are really good. But i cant connect to the Touchosc bridge on my mac or pc. It wont launch no matter what i do. So can you please update it pr something to make it work better.PLEASE!!!!! ¡!!!!!!!!!!.

This works great with the latest ETC software that includes OSC. A little trial and error connecting with board but that was mostly settings in the ETC software.

This works great for driving devices of all kinds through Arduino.

It requires a very complicated setup to begin with, following instructions with outdated screenshots. LiveControl 2 just doesnt work and theres no support. Dont waste your money with this app if Ableton Live is your favorite DAW.

I have been trying to get this app working with my DAW for 4+ hours. Ive downloaded every single piece of software their labyrinthian site laid out for me. Ive scrolled through countless forums full of people saying they just had to tinker until they got it. Im tired of tinkering. I just want it to work so I can track my vocals. I managed to get the signals working on their "Simple" template... Im convinced Im doing something wrong. A brilliant idea ruined by a convoluted set-up

Took me about 5 minutes to configure this to use OSC to talk to Max/MSP 7.0.6. Very easy. I’ve been playing ever since.

I only managed to get the coremidi connection working, but like others cannot get the touchosc bridge to receive midi data. The website is very unintuitive, and livecontrol does not function and so ableton live is rendered useless. I am able to get the Simple template to work, but only using coremidi. My advice to the creator is to address these problems and also create a more intuitive website, as this is not currently the case.

Crashes immediately on launch.

I have encountered a repeated app transport security problem trying to sync with my laptop. Anyone have suggestions on how to work around this?

Having sync issue with version 1.9.5 where I can’t initiate a sync due to the error “Connection Failed! The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection.” Help.
